Consultation and Communication
Hevilifts maintains that communication and consultation with its employees is the keystone to a safe environment. In order to achieve this, Hevilifts has monthly Health and Safety Committee Meetings attended by representatives from all areas of the business.

As a business, Hevilifts is committed to the principles of an I.I.F. (Incident and Injury Free) culture. All Staff and Operatives have attended a 4 hour incident and injury free orientation training session. This has been maintained throughout the business via the work of the Safety Committee and the adoption of the following principles:

Professional Memberships

The Sword of Honour is widely recognised as the pinnacle of International Health and Safety Awards and is presented to organisations who have demonstrated to an external independent adjudication panel, a culture of best practice for Health and Safety throughout their business, from boardroom to shop floor.

In order to compete for the BSC Sword of Honour, organisations must be able to demonstrate that their specific site has achieved the maximum rating in the BSC's Five Star Health and Safety Management System. Inaugurated in 1979, only 40 swords are awarded world-wide.
